Our core beliefs guide us at CYAL
We believe in walking out our faith.
CYAL is proud to be a faith-based organization. We are led to serve all people and treat everyone with love and respect regardless of their beliefs. Our faith compels us to action.
We believe relationships come first.
The ongoing process of transformation happens through relationships, so we strive to prioritize relationships in all we do—whether with our supporters, neighbors, program participants, or partner organizations.
We believe education is a game changer.
We believe education is the single greatest mechanism, empowering people and families.
We believe by helping to develop potential, doors are open.
Within every individual there is untapped ability. Helping to develop a person's untapped ability; potential can transform an individual's circumstances and situations.
We believe inside of everyone there is a Leader.
The distinguishing mark of a leader is their character. People must trust you. Trust is given by others in response to your character. Leaders are disciplined, self-less, smart, trustworthy, consistent and have good character.
We believe in unity.
While there is no I in team there is an I in the middle of unity. For us to be the best means, the better I am the better (we are)our team is. The better we are the better our community is.
